CLASSRoad STARTALK Summer 2016 – Advancing TELL Online with Comprehensible Input M03 – How Do I Use Realia and Props in the Online Environment? (June 20-22)

This module has two major foci: 1) to understand and practice strategies for locating, choosing, and using digital images to create comprehensible input in synchronous, online sessions, and  2)  how to bring life to synchronous, online lessons through the integration of realia and props. You’ll use this information as you develop and teach your Cross-language Peer Microteaching Lesson to an assigned partner before 11:59 on Wednesday, June 22nd as explained in Module 2.6 – Preparing for Your Cross-Language Microteaching.  Given this major activity, there are no discussions or other activities in this module!  Further, to provide you with maximum flexibility, the content for this module is all provided via two video clips that you may watch at your leisure prior to your Cross-language microteaching.
