Module 3 Learning Targets

3.3 – Realia and Props: How To Bring Life to Your Synchronous, Online LessonWhile the previous video focused on images, this instructional video takes a look a your use of realia or props you might use while broadcasting yourself via the webcam feature of an online, synchronous session.If possible, before your Cross-language Microteaching

Module 4 will be released at 8:00 am ET on Thursday, June 24.

You will conduct your cross-language microteaching on either June 20, 21 or 22.

Beginning Tuesday, June 21 at 9 a.m., please return to 2.3 – Ask the Expert Forum to find Laura’s responses. Laura’s responses will help deepen your understanding of comprehensible input and the ways in which we can use comprehensible input in our online learning environments.

Our next live, synchronous session will take place on Thursday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m. PT / 7:30 p.m. CT / 8:30 p.m. ET with Professor Andrea Guillaume, who will speak to us about growth mindset practices with respect to peer feedback.

Like all synchronous events, this event is required.  Please remember to login to Adobe Connect  (Links to an external site.)at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to test your audio and ensure your technology is functioning properly. 

Friday, June 24  – your peer feedback on your cross-language microteaching is due.

Saturday, June 25 –  your recorded Think Aloud reflection is due.
