4.5 – Checking for Understanding Swap Shop
With so many talented educators gathered in this course, we have access to a wealth of experience and creativity in the design and implementation of checks for understanding. It would be a shame to neglect an opportunity to share our respective ideas on this topic, so we decided to include a popular sharing technique in this module known as a “swap shop”. Dating back to a time when the exchanging of goods or bartering was the manner by which goods and necessities were obtained, the concept of the swap shop is simple: In exchange for an item of value, you must also offer an item of value in return.
