As we learned from our session with Laura Terrill and from our previous work in Module One, effective and meaningful use of media, realia and images can provide target language comprehensible input and output and develop students’ cultural competencies
Next week you will apply your understanding of comprehensible input strategies to deliver a 10-minute, cross-language peer microteaching demonstration to one of your course peers who does not speak your language. This demonstration will allow you the opportunity to practice what you’ve learned while at the same time preparing you for the Peer Microteaching experience with CSUSB students during the Week of July 11.
As you prepare for both of these microteaching experiences, Laura Terrill has agreed to make herself available to respond to follow up questions not addressed during her live session. Laura will then respond to your questions.
Click on the following link to post your question to Laura. Follow the instructions in the discussion prompt. Please remember that your posted question is due before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 17.
Once you’ve completed this section, please continue to the next section, 2.4 – Learning Objectives versus Learning Targets.
