2.4.C. Comprehensible Input and Output Strategies-ST Summer 2021

In this activity, we will learn about and watch examples of comprehensible input and output strategies. After you have viewed the following two videos, join the discussion on FlipGrid with your peers. You may choose to watch one or more of the videos again – an advantage of online courses! Or you may simply want to replay the videos in your mind.  You’ll use what you’ve learned from these videos to incorporate discussions in the upcoming modules.

Respond to the following questions: a) How many of these strategies do you currently incorporate in your teaching? b) Which video incorporates more engaging activities? Why? c) review and comment on at least 3 peer posts.

In a 3-5 minute FlipGrid video, please answer the following questions:



1. How many of these strategies do you currently incorporate in your teaching?

2. Is there anything you would like to change about how you implement them (question 1)?
3. Which video incorporates more engaging activities? Why

To successfully complete this assignment, please:

  1. Record a FlipGrid video response using the following link.
  2. Respond to three of your peers’ responses with a text comment
  3. Copy and paste the link to your FlipGrid video response on a text file/Word and list the name of the 3 peers you left a comment for
  4. Name your file FlipGrid#2 and upload it using the submission portal below

Note: You will need to have registered for a FlipgGrid account in order to record your submission. If you do not have a FlipGrid account, please register for one prior to proceeding with the assignment. You’ll need to register using a Google or Microsoft Account.
