Lingling you say that AAPPL can identify areas of weakness/strengths. Have you personally made use of that feature? If so, can you provide some suggestions to other teachers to benefit from it?

Thank you Thana for starting this discussion topic.
In the 3-2-1 reflection, many teachers are wondering if there a Chinese website OR any other place that has a compilation of authentic material suitable for different levels?
I would encourage all the Chinese and Arabic teachers to please give your suggestions in this forum and help out the fellow teachers.

Voicethread, Playposit, Book Creator and Storyboard are some of my favorite tools. Somehow students love Kahhots although I prefer Quizlet for vocab.

Thank you Thana for sharing so many ideas to teach online effectively.
One biggest challenge most teachers have is sending students to breakout room with her/his supervision. The way to deal with this is to let them know that you can come to the classroom at any time. Also, give them a set time to finish the task, that would keep them busy and on the task.
As you mentioned, so many apps are useful to keep students engaged and the young generation loves technology. “Voicethread is excellent app for checking for learning and formative assessment. For summative assessment I love “Book creator” app.

Differentiation is a vast area. The idea is to meet the needs of all learners, thus also making it ‘learner centered’. Basically it can be attained by-

Content: The content is adjusted to be cognitively challenging yet comprehensible based on the proficiency level and learning style of individual learners.

Process: The tasks through which learners process the input/ content to make sense of it, is tailored to their ability level providing them extra support or challenge as needed.

Product: The learners have a choice of ways to show what they have learned and know, through the final project according to their skill levels, style and interest.

Learning environment: The physical and psychological environment of the classroom can also affect a learner and can influence their learning. Flexible classroom environments help.

There are many resources on the web about it, here is a link for one-
