Teaching languages in online environments require we follow best practices supported by research. We are going to learn about some important e-learning design principles and then we’ll take a take a Jeopardy-style review quiz to self-assess our learning.

While you should incorporate all of these guidelines in the planning of your online lessons, please select one guideline you will focus on in particular for your peer microteaching learning episode. Write down this guideline in the learning episode section of your lesson plan and describe how you will use it to maximize student learning of your authentic content.
