    Ms.Lai
I strongly agree with you to adopt OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) is a valid and reliable test that measures how the students speak the target language considering the age of your students.
OPI test is about 12- 30 minutes which is suitable for young learners to test their ability to engage in a conversation.
The test will provide you feedback about students’ levels, what they achieved, and how to use the target language on a daily basis.

Thank you Mrs. Thana for sharing your thoughts. As you mentioned teaching a world language online can be challenging. In the beginning, I struggled to negative the platform and I am still learning.
I am grateful for providing us with so many ideas, apps, and programs to be creative, and productive to create an interesting amazing online learning environment.

I agree using the OPI is a good platform for students to see how well a learner can speak the target language in any circumstances ( travel, work, ….)

After I scanned and learned about all standard assessment platform for the purpose of language proficiency evaluation and compare it towards what my school offers to their students in the curriculum and how the learner learns, develop and master the target language skills (speaking, listening, writing, and reading).
My school offers Arabic language classes for adults and learners from ages 3-17 and have both heritage and non-heritage.
I am considering adopting the ACTFL Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages (AAPPL). It is all about standards-based language learning and how to evaluate or assess the language performance and proficiency by applying the three modes of communication (ILS, PW, IR, IL) and the 5 CS depending on the novice language learner age and proficiency level.
Using the AAPPL test at the beginning and at the end of the course, helps to see the progress achieved and provide feedback to the teacher, parents and school.
AAPPL is a web-based test design, but the administrator needs to know how the test is presented and how to provide technical support if needed.
