Arabic Amel Belguith Biography: Amel Belguith is a member of the Near Eastern Studies Department at University of California, Berkeley. She is an Arabic Instructor with more than fifteen years of experience and a special focus on teaching Arabic as a Second Language. She currently teaches Elementary and Intermediate Modern Standard Arabic courses as well as Intensive Elementary Arabic course. She believes in the power of teaching and its positive influence on students’ lives. Her unique approach to teaching and many years of experience enable her to provide students with tailored instruction based on their familiarity with the language and unique learning needs. Mrs. Belguith is passionate about teaching and counseling and enjoys watching students learn to use the Arabic language. She has experience in teaching both in-person and remotely.
